Fender Custom Shop's 2017 Limited '56 Stratocaster Relic features a dark aesthetic, authentic vintage specs, and all the Strat tone you can handle. With its set of Handwound Fat 60s pickups, you get slightly hotter tone than was initially achievable on the originals. This tone matches the guitar's significantly darker look as well, with an alder body in an Aged Black finish, and a AAA Medium Roasted Birdseye Maple neck, with a much browner tint than most other Strats with maple necks. This guitar has all the marks, scuffs, scratches, and dings of an original 50s Stratocaster as well, making it look like it's come straight out of a time machine. This is only furthered by its vintage hardware and period-correct specs. You'll feel right at home fretting notes with a 10/56 "V" neck and Sanko 6105 frets.
