DescriptionThis TimeWarp 51 Nocaster is a ground up build consisting of a Musikraft Poplar body and Flame Maple and Birdseye boatneck Broadcaster neck, and was transformed into an authentic looking and playing custom shop quality '51 Broadcaster through the TimeWarp process of aging and relic work. It is incredibly realistic in its look, and the tone is pure vintage Fender thanks to the Fender American Custom Shop Broadcaster bridge and Nocaster Twisted Tele neck pickups. It's everything you'd want in a vintage guitar but the price. The work that went into it takes this guitar to a whole new level. The thin Butterscotch Blonde Nitro is aged to look like a true barnstormer that lived the chitlin circuit. Poplar wood has a very balanced tone with equal parts lows, mids and highs, and is very similar to Alder. The
amount of checking and player wear makes it look truly authentic and is usually found only on a real 1950s model, or Masterbuilt guitars.The Birdseye and Flame Maple neck is a huge Nocaster neck with Medium Jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius. It's 1.032" (26.21 mm) at the 1st and 12th frets. The amber Nitro has age, wear and checking, and has a great feel.
The American Fender Custom Shop Broadcaster pickups have the classic tone as only Fender can do, with a little more pop thanks to the Twisted Tele in the neck. They're fully cloth wired to a 4 way switch, Orange Sprague drop cap, CTS Pots, (Delta Tone No Load Tone and Volume with treble bleed) and a Switchcraft output jack. One of the best features is a period correct serial number stamped on the USA Fender Pat. Pend. bridge with compensated brass saddles. While it's a relic, the guitar is new.
