Gibson Epiphone 1960s Wiring Harness Mini-humbuckers PAF Patent No.
Estimated price for orientation: 899 $
Category: Parts
Class:
Description Brand: Epiphone Exact Year: 1960
Up for sale is this complete Kalamazoo-made Gibson/Epiphone wiring harness. This was taken from the mid-1960s Epiphone Sorrento. But it should work for most hollow or semi hollow body electric's that are the Sorrento's close cousins, such as the Casino, Sheraton, Riviera, etc. You might also be able to modify it and use it in a late 1960s Gibson Les Paul. I can give you precise measurements of all the cables if you need more info for your particular project. It could also work in a number of Gibson guitars, including the ES-345 or ES-335, etc. Of course you'll need to disconnect the mini-humbuckers and have your own set of full-size humbuckers in that instance. I can't read the pot codes, since they are under the cans. But I would estimate somewhere between 1965-1967. The pick up covers do look nickel to me, however. So that would put it closer to 65, but I cannot be certain. The harness features original patent number PAF mini humbuckers. The bridge pick up was very weak and had to be repaired. Works and sounds great. I have nearly all of the rest of the mounting hardware for the pots, pickups, switch, switch tip etc. I'm not sure if this is absolutely every last thing, but the vast majority of it is there. Please see the pictures. What you see is what you get. Price is $999.99 but I am definitely open to offers. Shipping will be negotiated depending on the offer amount. Shipping, of course, is free at the buy it now price. International shipping is available. Price listed here is an estimate only. Please contact me for precise pricing and availability.
