You are bidding on a Gibson SG Special complete with Gator Hard Case. This thing sounds amazing - exactly what you'd expect from a US-made classic like and SG. I have a few other Gibsons, so this doesn't get played enough. This is a glossy finish - not one of the cheaper faded/worn models which Gibson have issued to enable them to hit an even lower price point. It has seen some action, so please don't bid if you like your guitars absolutely pristine. The biggest thing of note is the buckle rash on the back which unfortunately I couldn't get to show up on photographs. There's also the odd small ding and scrape - nothing major, nothing effecting functionality, but only fair to mention. I've probably described it as worse than it is, but I do try to be as honest as I can with the photos, mainly due to poor experiences with sellers describing items as being in better condition than they actually are. Consequently, I prefer to mention every possible thing that could be useful in making up your mind before purchasing.Please take a look at my previous feedback for selling guitars and buy with confidence. (Please don't be put off by the single piece of negative feedback left recently - my first ever. It relates to a Boss tuner pedal which I am disputing with the buyer, who has yet to return the item despite claiming it is faulty - I am awaiting a resolution from eBay).The SG has been kept in a pet free smoke free home in the time I've had it (it was owned by my non-smoking uncle before me).
I don't have the key for the case I'm afraid. The case has one or two marks, but is in excellent physical condition. All the clasps work, and the interior is spotless. I'd be happy to waive postage if the buyer prefers collection. This would be from my Barnsley town centre office, a minute's walk from the bus and rail interchange. Similarly, I'd be happy to negotiate on postage if the buyer preferred to arrange their own courier. However, my preference, based on experience, is Parcelforce 48 who aren't cheap but have been very reliable. I'm in no hurry to sell, so no silly offers please. Buyer pays within 24 hours or sale is cancelled and the item is re-listed. Happy to answer any questions. According to the guitar dater project, the guitar was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA on December 8th, 2006 - Production Number: 98.

The SG has been kept in a pet free smoke free home in the time I've had it (it was owned by my non-smoking uncle before me).
