This is a BAC (Best American Craftsman) custom trombone made in Kansas, USA. The horn was built by Mike Corrigan (aka the Horn Doctor) around an Earl Williams model 4 bell. This is the same make and model of trombone used by the legendary Jim Pugh. Many of BAC's signature designs are featured on this horn including their loop style counterweight, black bell wash, and Saturn water key. This particular model is an incredibly efficient horn that is excellent for playing in big band or small group jazz ensembles as well as pop and commercial settings. The horn is dent free. Since it is such a fantastic instrument it has been used professionally for the past few years, and it has some cosmetic lacquer wear. This does not effect its playability.
