Harmony StratotoneThis is a very nice Harmony Stratotone made in the States in the very early sixties.Its finished in a dark sunburst with full body binding and a white scratchplate containing a singlechromed pickup. There are volume and tone controls and a two-way switch which locks the tone at wherever the tone control is turned to; and the knobs are original ''cupcake'' knobs.The bridge is and adjustable wooden model and the tailpiece is a short trapeze. The neck is bolted onby means of three inset screws and the fingerboard contains twenty frets - all good. The headstockhas the original tuners and the ''Harmony Stratotone'' logo.There are a few small marks on the body and neck and a name written on the neck in pen which could be removed,and there is a corner broken off the scratchplate but it is still there.
This is a fantastic blues guitar and very versatile - its very lightweight at just under five pounds buthas plenty of power.
