Ovation Viper, serial # E10952. I purchased this guitar for my wife for her birthday in '84 or '85. It was used but looked to be in perfect shape. I thought it was really cool. She HATED it. She tried to play it a bit to make me feel better but it soon wound up back in it's case and under the bed. Fellas, my advice is to buy your wife a nice necklace and let her pick her own guitars. Anyway, last month she started taking lessons again. She mentioned that everyone in the class but her were playing electrics......So while she was at class, I pulled out the Ovation and had it set up in the stand and plugged into the amp when she got home..........and she HATED it. Once a hippy acoustic chick always an hippy acoustic chick. I still think that it is really cool. Wish I could play.It looks just like it did when I bought it. Very, very nice shape. Pots, switch and pickups are perfect. I just put on new strings hoping that would make her like it......nope. So, instead of our heirs finding this guitar under the bed why don't you buy it. Just not for your wife!USA only please. Questions are welcome. Local P/U welcome. DougI just realized that it has been a long time since I sold anything on eBay and my sellers rating has disappeared. If you would like to chat, send me a message and I will get back to you by phone. I could even get my better half to play the Viper for you. Thanks, Doug
