***Make me an offer***This is a custom model AC175 made in 1997 using the then available rare kg1. Carvin offered the kit in two versions one had a tremolo on it. The kit parts and pieces were of higher quality then a normal production model as far as I know the kit was only offered for one year and then it was dropped it must have been a logistics problem for Carvin. Carvin's loss is your gain this is a customized AC175 of high quality and sound.Plays like an electric, sounds like an amazing acoustic. Custom made Carvin AC175 one of a kind thin-body acoustic/electric. The most comfortable electric acoustic guitar you'll ever play. Sperzel gold locking tuners. 24 karat gold plated knobs. Ebony in color with a sunburst colored, detailed trim. Base model without the custom kit sells for around $1200. The AC175 semi-hollow acoustic has a mahogany neck, which runs through the body, giving a smooth transitional heel for effortless playability to the 24th fret. The mahogany body is hollowed-out for the best plugged-in acoustical tone possible, while keeping the overall weight down to 5 1/4 pounds. Solid AAA grade Engleman Spruce is used on the top for its superior tone and beautiful uniform blonde grain. The ebony bridge houses an acoustic transducer specifically designed to compliment the tone of the AC175's semi-hollow body construction. Guitar case is included. Resin coating has a small chip showing mahogany underneath on the head, it's no big deal.
