Description – Warwick Thumb Bolt-on 4-string bass For sale is a used Warwick Thumb Bolt-on 4-string Bass. The bass is in very good cosmetic condition (see photographs) and plays beautifully. It was purchased new in 2000, has seen very minimal wear over this time, mostly used in the studio. I am the original owner. This is a gorgeous bass, with a woody and articulate “modern” tone. Also regarded as a monster slap machine. It features a wide tonal range, all of which is useful: bridge pickup only gives a *very* forward, funky tone; neck pickup only is a pristine, articulate, round tone; with both pickups mixed evenly, the bass produces a balanced, articulate, and warm “modern” tone, distinctly “Warwick.” All variations work very well for both finger-style and slapping techniques. This is truly a great bass with a great vibe. Features include - distinctive ergonomic design with easy neck access - koa body and neck, ovankol fingerboard - bell-brass frets for distinctive brilliant tone - bolt-on construction - 34” three-piece neck, 24 frets, very good intonation - fully adjustable bridge - adjustable nut height - active MEC electronics, including bass and treble EQ, pickup pan, and volume - single 9V battery, accessed from back cavity access panel Included in this sale - the Thumb Bass - truss rod adjustment tool - allan wrench for bridge and nut adjustment - a tin of Warwick beeswax wood polish PRICED TO SELL! – Compare with other 4-string Thumb Bolt-on eBay listings!
