This pre-owned Teardrop Style Mandolin was hand built by the renouned luthier, Louis Mancuso, out of the Woodstock area of upstate New York. Lou built or worked on instruments for some of the greats during the heyday of the bluegrass revival, including Bob Dylan, members of The Band, and even did a repair for the late great Jimi Hendrix. The mandolin is in absolutely excellent condition, with just a slight angle to the neck, and it sounds beautiful. We love the abalone trim around the back and front, it has a certain hand crafted charm that you just can’t get with factory laid appointments. Features include a spruce top, maple neck, ebony fretboard, and Schaller tuners. The body, neck, headstock, and soundhole are all bound, providing both elegance and comfort.Questions?
