Conn 25F flugelhorn
Estimated price for orientation: 700 $
Category: Flugelhorns
Class:
Description Brand: Conn Skill Level: Beginner Finish: Lacquer Model: 25F
I'm selling my Conn 25F flugelhorn- The valves and slides move very well, and the lacquer, while having imperfections, has a very nice color and older look to it.The sound this horn produces is surprisingly nice- it gives a dark, full sound throughout all the registers. To be honest, the only reason I haven't been using this horn is because I've had access to a Bach Stradivarius. However, the sound difference between the two is very slight. If not for the fact that the strad is something I'm just borrowing from a family member this might be the one I'd keep. It's a beginner horn but like many old beginner horns it stands up very well to today's instruments. The horn is missing the first valve inlay and has a noticeable of the crook of the bell. One small fix that will have to be made is the spit valve pads are far past their prime and you'll need to put new ones on.Feel free to ask questions, and thanks for viewing this.
