Original facings on Otto Links can be a mixed bag--sometimes they're bad, most of the times they're just okay.This one is a keeper.It's an Otto Link Early Babbitt 8* Super Tone Master for tenor saxophone, and includes the original ligature and cap. Cosmetically it's not the prettiest Link--all of the rhodium plating remains but the gold plating is bubbling and flaking off in certain areas. The table still retains most of the gold plating even to the rails. Inside, there's a decent-sizing step baffle characteristic of these vintages, and the tip opening measures at around 0.110 or an 8. It plays up and down the register very well, with fat notes even up to the palm keys. Easily one of the better playing Links I've come across.International buyers pay any customs fees.If you have any questions let me know!
