This certified/appraised 1965 Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone belonged to my late Father-in-Law. He was a professional Saxophone Player for years, playing for numerous local bands and many famous Blues Players, including a performance at the inaugural Rose City Blues Festival. He purchased this saxophone used in approximately 2011. Our understanding is that he put a good sum of money into it after purchase to replace pads, and various other items. He played this horn. He passed in 2015. The Gooseneck has two dings in it that, we were told, are minor. The finish has obvious wear, but was a much loved and well used instrument. The case, I am told, is older than 1965 and is a Jean Cartier case from France, but it is what it came with it when purchased. It has been verified by the long established local music store having a Serial number placed in 1965. This item is up for auction by his estate so no returns will be allowed, sold as-is.
