Maple bodyMaple top28 5/8 scaleMaple body, Maple top28 5/8 ScaleI painstakingly converted this standard Baritone Steinberger Synapse "Transcale" to a left-handed model by precision milling the nut and bridge (I am a small-parts CNC machinist) to be suitable for a left-handed player. It is the ONLY one that exists as a true "Lefty".[ Please note that you can NOT simply string one of these instruments upside-down -- it won't work at all. The nut will not accept larger strings in the small "E" and "B" positions, and the bridge will be slanted backwards.]ALSO: To complete the job, I switched over the strap lock, as well as moving the collapsible "leg-rest" onto the other side for the increased comfort of a lefty player. All work is professionally done, and the guitar is the only lefty model of this amazing instrument available on planet Earth!Instrument is in great condition, minor cosmetic wear only. Electronics, knobs, everything works great. Comes with deluxe Steinberger custom gig-bag.This guitar NEW in it's Right-Handed form is $1,200.
