Kay K45 travel guitarKnown as the ''rifle'' guitar in the UK and the ''Austin hatchet'' in the USA this is a great guitar made for Kayin Korea but only produced in 1981- this is a very versatile guitar and great for any job.It is made from solid wood with a maple stripe running right through the body from top to bottom.There are two fantastic DiMarzio pickups with cream surrounds and with two volume controls and one toneplus micro switches - a three-way pickup switch and an out of phase switch.There is in inset strap fixed at the back and with strap pins too. The triple dot fret markers are in brass as isthe adjustable bridge/tailpiece and inset holes for stringing at the back. The nut would also have been brassbut has been replaced as has the backplate. The truss rod cover is also brass and bears the ''K'' logo; and thethree on a side tuners are mini Grover type tuners which are excellent.This is a lovely little guitar with plenty of power, good to play and sounds superb - it shows some minormarks on it from normal wear over nearly forty years and it still has its original soft bag.
