This Fender Precision Special Bass is known as the famous Cowpoke Bass. It was made in Mexico 1994-95. It plays like a dream. The Seymor Duncan Bassline Pickups really give this Bass a punchy sound. New Gold Hipshot USA bridge and Hipshot USA tuning machines were added to the bass. The lighter weight tuners corrected a problem with neck dive. It is perfectly balanced now. If you Google Cowpoke Bass, you will see that it has a dedicated fan club. It is a unique, beautiful and great sounding bass. It has a few nicks and dings but nothing that affects the playability of the instrument. You will thoroughly enjoy this rare instrument. The sunburst model is the rarest. I have too many basses.
