This Collector's Choice #30 1959 Les Paul beauty truly has one of the very best Authentic & Vintage Gibson looking maple flame tops that I've seen in the entire Gibson Appraisal Burst CC#30 series. This CC#30 Gibson Appraisal Burst features an absolutely Gorgeous looking 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard maple flame top that exhibits both Awesome , FAT & WIDE, Side to Side Flame & As well as an authentic looking vintage Gibson like "Dead Straight on Flame" appearance . Since the 1990's Gibson "Good Wood era," finding a Gibson Historic Les Paul Flame top reissue, or Custom Shop signature model Les Paul, or even a current modern day Collector's Choice Les Paul model that has an outstanding highly figured maple flame top that looks fantastic from most all angles is most often a difficult & rare combination to find with Gibson guitar's over the past several years. This CC#30 is one example of that Hard to find Killer looking Gibson Les Paul's that looks real & authentic and isn't overcooked or fake looking !! The great Artisan's at the Gibson Custom Shop did an amazing job on the masterful Aging & finish work on this CC#30 to mirror the incredibly well preserved original 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, ser#9-0291 that was purchased from it's original owner by Burst collector & Vintage Gibson Les Paul Aficionado, Vic DaPra .Beyond a ridiculously small number of feint isolated pick scratches located on the pickguard this Beautiful Collector's Choice #30 remains in MINT CONDITION & has never been displayed or been hung on a wall hanger in any retail music location. This Beauty weighs 8 lbs. 12 ounces & has a very comfortable full C shaped neck with a Dark 1 piece Indian Rosewood fret board.The neck thickness on this Gibson Collector's Choice "Gabby" measures .920 at the 1st fret & 1.030 at the 12th fret, with smooth fast action up & down the neck .The Alnico III Custom Bucker pickups are simply Killer sounding making this 2015 Gibson Collector's Choice #30 ,1959 Les Paul beauty a fantastic looking & sounding combination to add to your arsenal of axe's.
