Buffet Crampon Paris bass clarinet. The instrument has a Charles Bay customized clarinets plaque on it. I do not play an instrument, nor do I know anything about them. This piece is part of a lien sale I purchased which contains many Charles Bay pieces. The piece has a quarter and a dime welded on two of its keys, the bell has a dent on its underside. The pads may need to be replaced, I really don't know, the keys move freely. The piece has been well played, but appears to be in good condition. There is no mouthpiece included. The outer case has been used and abused, it's not a pretty sight. There is a serial number but it's very faint 559k1 is my guess, but it's very faint so that may not be it. I took a photo of it so you may be able to make it out.
