The MOTIF Flagship Workstation! The Yamaha MOTIF XS8 keyboard workstation gives you the power to create, using the Xpanded Articulation Synth engine's 355 MB of WAVE ROM, a studio-style mixing environment and Virtual Circuitry modeling effects to fire your imagination. The XS8 is the flagship of the MOTIF line, and includes a balanced hammer effect keyboard with initial touch/aftertouch. Other features include a studio-style UI with LCD screen, eight assignable knobs, eight faders, and USB/FireWire and Ethernet connectivity and storage of new sounds via an onboard sampling sequencer. Capture your inspiration with the Yamaha MOTIF XS8. Yamaha MOTIF XS8 Keyboard Workstation at a Glance: This keyboard has been the center of my studio for 7 years. Other than two location moves it has been in place in my none smoking studio. There are some scratches on one corner thanks to some careless movers. I have upgraded the RAM but I can’t remember to what. I think it’s up to 512K. Not sure but I’m not charging for that anyway. So, if that’s not correct it shall not be a reason for returning the keyboard. All keys, knobs, buttons and switches work the way they are supposed to. I will reset the keyboard to factory specs upon shipping. This is a big board 88 keys. Shipping and insurance is estimated to be $80. However, if it’s less I will refund the difference. If it’s more you will need to pay the difference before the item is shipped.
