This is one of a limited run of "stripped-down” USA-built PRS guitars, introduced in 2006, I think.These guitars were all about sound and playability, with no frills.Solid, 1-piece mahogany carved-top body.1-piece mahogany wide-fat neck.Abalone bird inlays.Thin satin nitro finish, “Charcoal".Seymour Duncan overwound P90 pickups.PRS Phase II locking tuners.PRS wrapover aluminium bridge/tailpiece.Original PRS hard case and hang tags.The guitar is extremely light (under 8lbs), plays wonderfully, as do all PRS guitars, and sounds tremendous! The overwound P90s have all the spite and snarl that you would expect from these pickups, but are also capable of delivering the thicker, smoother tones that you’d usually expect from humbuckers. As is also the case with PRS guitars, in my experience, the volume and tone controls are useful, useable tools for helping you aschieve a range of different tones just from the guitar alone.This is an “old-school”, player’s guitar, in the tradition of classic ‘50s LP Juniors and SGs: lightweight, 1-piece mahogany bodies, fabulous necks and great pickups - all you need!Condition is very good - no faults or damage of any sort, electrics work perfectly, intonation is spot-on and frets are showing no discernable wear. The tuners are functioning perfectly, too.The only notable point is that the lacquer is marked and worn in places, due to the fact that it is extremely thin. The most obvious place is the lower bout, where the player’s right arm has rubbed the finish through to bare wood in one place. Please see the numerous detailed photos.The original PRS hard case is included, along with hang tags, spare tuner locks, allen key etc. The case is in good condition overall and the locks work (key included). In fact, everything that came with the guitar when it was new is still with it.Feel free to ask any questions. I’m not interested in trades, thank you, but would be very happy to demo the guitar at my house in South Lincs. I would much prefer the guitar to arrive at its new home in one piece, so would be happy to deliver it for fuel costs (within a reasonable distance of Lincolnshire), or meet somewhere.
