Description
Brand: Gibson Series: Vintage
Model: ES-125 Exact Year: 1969
Body Type: Hollow

The guitar was built in 1966 or 1969 at the Gibson Kalamazoo, Michigan factory based on the Serial Number 811007 and is in good condition. It has the typical checkered finish of older instruments and what might be a small crack near the port for the amp cable. Additionally, there are small divots on the upper and lower bouts and a surface scratch below the pick guard. These defects do not impact the sound or playability of the guitar. (See photos) The Humbucker pick-ups, as well as the Grover tuners, are not original and were on the instrument when I purchased it around 30 years ago. The guitar sounds great and has good action. It is being sold simply to offset the purchase price of a gypsy jazz guitar. If I could afford to, I would not be letting it go as it's been a great guitar and is a classic. As essentially an acoustic player, the acoustic sound and playability of the guitar are what I love about it. It comes with a hardshell case. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
