Thinning the herd and need to part with my 2004 710ce L9. This is a unique 710ce in that it has a slight shorter scale length of 24-7/8". This is 5/8" shorter than standard Taylor 25.5". I believe it was only offered in this special edition on 2004, but I see that Taylor has returned to this shorter scale length in 2016 for the 710e. The difference is subtle but can make a difference making it easier reaching across frets. Soundhole inlay is koa. In addition, this L9 edition included a rosewood binding (instead of white plastic) and snowflake inlays, which I think are both beautiful. This also has the Englemann top which was a classic 710 feature before Taylor started using basic sitka for the 700 series in recent years.The guitar has been played a lot and has a few small dings here and there but nothing big. I have done my best to show any flaws in the photos and will be happy to discus any questions or details with you. Frets are good. They were dressed about a year ago and there are no buzzes or any weirdness. The guitar is currently set up with Elixr Light/med customs and action is low for effortless playing. The original ES system works perfectly and sounds great. I plug in for coffeehouses and church work regularly. The original Taylor case is also in 9/10 shape. The Guitar will be pro packed and shipped via FedEx Ground for free to Continental US locations. Return gladly accepted within 48hr inspection window. 100% money back but Buyer pays shipping charges.
