75 Ibanez 2387 Flying V. Korina V Copy from the Lawsuit Era 1975 electric! Comes with new, non-original Case.
Early incarnation of this model with the pickguard that goes around the bridge post and without the skid-pad on the bottom edge. Original electronics and the coveted Super 70's pickups! When I purchased it about 10 years ago the previous owner had already removed the pickup covers, so the covers are replacement covers I had installed. All else is original to the guitar. This guitar is Near MINT 9.5. It is the cleanest Ibanez V to be on eBay in some time and is the last in my collection to go! It is super lightweight, as well as very resonant even unplugged! I just have WAY too many guitars and need to thin the inventory!
This guitar plays and sounds wonderful! The Frets have nearly 100% life left! Trust rod works perfectly. It may have gotten a new nut (bone) when I had it plek'd and set up by my luthier, but that was a few years back and I don't remember. All the controls work perfectly. All the gold plating is nearly mint, with only some minor wear on the top edge of bridge, edge of one pickup and the tuners. The body has only the most minor marks on it. There are no chips or scratches. After it was plekd I had my luthier polish the guitar to remove mild scuff marks and scratches from over the years. So all that is left is just some very minor marks and 2-3 very minor impressions from playing. I am being extremely picky! The guitar could pass for being a year old.
