Guitar plays great, hole in the pickguard was from a switch I had installed for a neck/bridge pickup option. Didn't have a back plate when purchased. Disclaimer!! Pickups are 65' vintage pickups. The neck pickup works, however, it needs to be soldered to the pots again. I will included standard Stratocaster noiseless pickups if the vintage ones prove difficult. No extra charge
