A wonderful Viola bow by August Nurnberger. Bow is in wonderful condition and is light for a viola bow at 65.5 grams. It is, however, extremely responsive and gets a terrific sound from most instruments. The bow has beautiful varnish -- not quite as red as the photos would suggest. It is a marvelous example of A. Nurnberger's work. There are no cracks or repairs and the stick is straight.
