Authentic Concertina with serial number 32825. .Lachenal & Co Patent Concertina Manufacturer. London. Polished ,dark wooden rosewood ? ends with 48 push buttons (one sticks in) ,leather finger straps in good condition and metal thumb rests. The squeeze box appears to be in very good condition .5 bellows and the colour suggests an English concertina. Hexagonal, wooden box, with wear to the material , black covering. Original label on the base reads 'Registered... Concertina. No 21 Pokeys? ( Okeys is clear) Made in Germany. May be a box from another concertina. Belonged to my Grandfather. I inherited it in about 1953 when he died , aged late 70's, and it is in the same box as I received it in. Seems to work fine but I do not play myself and may not be far off key.It needs a good home where it will be played and looked after.
