This is an Ibanez SZ720 FM or flame top. If you are looking at this guitar then most likely you know what it is. For those that do not I will describe it a bit.In the early 2000s Ibanez wanted to make an affordable option to the Paul Reed Smith guitars. So the came up with the SZ series guitars. The Sz came with Mahogany bodies, and a neck through neck. There were three levels of these guitars The 320 520 and the 720   The 720 was the top of the line. This is a grey flame top 720  or sz720fm.If you wanted a hard tail(no trem ) guitar and did not want to pay through the nose for a PRS, or other guitars, then this was your option. New these were over $1000.They played and sounded great. Ibanez later discontinued the  sz series and went to the szr series. Many guitarists will say that the sz was a way better guitar. That is why they are still sought after.They were a quality guitar, not some cheap copy.Out of the box they sounded and played great but, as with any guitar there is always room for improvement. so improve I did.The fret board has been plek'd (please look this up) it means that every fret is perfectly level., Next it has an Earvana compensated nut. If you have never played a guitar with a Earvana nut, well once you do you will never want to play another guitar with out one. Next it got a new Gotoh 510 bridge. The stock bridge is ok but, the Gotoh it a way better bridge. All of the higher end Ibanez Guitars all get Gotoh parts, and there is a a reason, it is because they are better. Next it got new grover mini locking tuner keys.These help it stay in tune way better than any other guitar.Now for the tone improvement. out with the stock pickups and in with  the new Dimarzio pickups.The bridge  pick up is a Tone Zone with a pull coil tap. The versatility of this is really amazing in a single tap mode you have a typical strat sound or even a tele. in the full humbucking position you have a rip roaring shread pickup that you can actually hear the notes on. With a clean setting it is wow!In the neck position there is an Air Norton, also with a pull coil tap.  This pickup can go from a strat SRV sound,a malmsteen arpeggio sound, or a full humbucking les paul tone.The tone versatility with this guitar is really amazing. I would put it up against any PRS, or any les Paul..Please dont try to get me to give it away, because I simply will not. I have a few other SZs that I am keeping so I can afford to let this one go.You will not find a better quality sz around. There are no scratches or dents on it, is in extremely good condition.The extras alone are worth the price of the guitar.Thanks for looking
