Beautiful gloss purple finish on the top, back, sides, neck and headstock with white binding, silver plexi pickguard and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the slim profile maple neck with a bound dark "ebonized" rosewood fretboard has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition.The TV Jones designed Hot Rod humbuckers have a great tone with good output. The electronics are simple with a master volume and a 3-way pickup selector. The guitar is equipped with an adjust-o-matic bridge, Bigsby tremolo tailpiece and Gretsch tuners. This is a nice instrument with a quality feel. The guitar has a good resonant, acoustic tone and when plugged in really has some serious tone, not to mention it plays easily letting your playing style influence the overall sound.
