For sell this beautiful guitar, This guitar is my kind of replica of David Gilmour Black Strat, but instead of using the 50's 60's and SSL-5 pick ups I chose the EMG's pickups, with SPC and EXG.( I really like them much more than the regular pickups) The guitar is in an excellent condition except for a tiny scratch on the fretboard ( see pict #5 ) but it doesn't affect guitar performance. The guitar is a Fender Stratocaster from the 90's, it has an original fabric Label on the back of the head celebrating the 50 years of Fender's excellence. The guitar has a custom short tremolo arm just like the one David Gilmour uses. The guitar has installed the EMG Pick ups with SPC and EXG, I have been told they are just like the ones Dave used during the Pulse concert. Guitar comes with Fender Case. * Fender White Skirted KnobsEMG-SA The EMG-SA Set combines the attributes of the early Strat sound but with an added midrange response and higher output, giving it "bell-like" ringing harmonics and increased sustain. One single Alnico bar magnet delivers classic overdrive with a smooth midrange distortion, while still retaining the familiar high-end of a single-coil pickup. These characteristics provide greater versatility than what is normally found in single-coil pickups. Favorites of Steve Lukather and David Gilmour just to name two.EMG-SPC The SPC or "Strat Presence Control" is often called the fat control. The original intent of the SPC was to turn the tone of a single-coil pickup into a dual-coil. This is accomplished by boosting the gain in a broad mid-band fashion and reducing the highs. The result is a fatter, louder tone from any single coil pickup, but you can also use it on a humbucking to give you a high output, really fat tone that's great for slide guitar.EMG-EXG For flexibility in tone at your fingertips there is no better choice than the EXG Guitar Expander. The frequency response of the EXG is similar to normal guitar amp equalization. The lows and highs are boosted while the midrange is dipped out. The EXG is great for creating a fuller tone that doesn't get muddy, while keeping it clean and clear, letting your guitar stand out in the mix.
