Thanks for your interest in my auction.Please read before you buy/ bid.For sale is a medium light/ medium thin K Istanbul 20" Ride cymbal. It is an Old Stamp type II-b from what I have researched, and it was made between 1945 and 1949. Rare lighter weight at 1900 grams.The cymbal was drilled for eight rivets, but none are currently installed.The cymbal has some cracks in the bell (I see three) plus two partial "half moon" cracks also in the bell. These haven't moved since I got the cymbal, but a repair might be a good idea. I know that Nodar Rode in NYC does wonderful repairs on these type of cymbals. The cracks around the bell are a very common issue in these cymbals. Other than that, the edges look good with minor nicks and no chips.The hammering is beautiful and so is the patina.The sound is smokey, not washy, a bit complex, very clear stick definition.
