A gorgeous limited edition Les Paul! One of 300 built, these were part of the guitar of the week series. All of the Les Paul Classic's tone with a stunning finish! The Weight Relieved mahogany body adds warmth while the carved, figured maple top adds brightness and beauty. The 1 piece mahogany 60’s shape neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. The headstock is bound and features a pearl crown inlay for killer looks. Uncovered 57 Classic humbucking pickups dish out PAF tone. A Stopbar tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and Kluson style tuners round out the package. This example is finished in very cool Reverse Fireburst lacquer (Custom Designed Marvel Comic's -Tom Morgan). A very unique finish that highlights and accentuates the AA+ wood. The Les Paul Antique delivers great performance and a killer vibe!You might not like the idea of a chambered Les Paul, but these guitars resonate like crazy--easily matching my R8 and R0 historics. Strum a chord, and the guitar vibrates from endpin to the tip of the headstock.The Designer Tom Morgan is an American comic book artist known primarily for his work on Marvel Comics' Captain America, The Punisher 2099, Excalibur and Iron Man. His Custom One off design was showcased and produced in accordance with Gibson's Guitar of the week Program and their Gibson Classic Antique Models in week 27. Gibson Produced only 300.Gibson’s 60s neck is really popular among players. Nice and slim. This one has a straight neck with low, buzz free action. The 57 Classics sound great and the electronics work fine. This is a Faultless guitar. Well taken care of, it shows no evident Play-wear. A Super Duper Clean example. Comes in original hardshell case with all Case Candy.There’s nothing quite like a good Les Paul. This one has a lot going for it.
