2015 Ikebe Gakki Spectrum 5 Reissue Limited Edition to only 100 pieces world-wide. Brand new, completely unplayed save 5 minutes for quality control check and inspection to ensure proper working order. The Spectrum 5 has unique features which no other guitar in the world can match. Mahogany body with Mosrite-inspired German-carve edge, Kay-influenced fretboard inlays, staggered pickups with stereo/mono output. Vibrato. Zero fret. Bi Flex Truss rod. Intuitive 5 on the slide switch controls. A new take on the vintage pickups that ups the power but captures the nuances of the original. C shape thin fantastic feeling neck boasting ease of playability. The name of this guitar derived from the switches’ ability to produce five tonal colors – a “spectrum of sound” – which could be used alone or in any combination. For stereo output – bass through one channel, treble through the other – two jacks were used. To quote the Ikebe rep, "Nostalgic also new, can not help it attract the human mind - spectrum Five ".
