Mint Fender Stratocaster in the very rare color Graffiti Yellow # 97 of 115 special ordered by the South Dakota State Lottery as part of a 2001 giveaway promotion by the South Dakota Lottery called "Guitar Town". These lottery Stratocasters were all made in Graffiti Yellow and were manufactured at the Fender Custom shop in Corona, California. The Custom shop does not make any of the regular manufacturing run versions of the the Strat. They make things such as expensive one-of-a kind highly decorated guitars, or special order guitars for famous musical artists. They also tackle special jobs such as the 115 guitars needed for the lottery giveaway.115 guitars were special ordered through the Fender Custom Shop in Graffiti Yellow. This color was not available on American Series Strats in '01 and only rarely have appeared since from Fender Custom. All were identically built with maple fretboards and a special laser etched rear tremolo cover with the South Dakota Lottery logo and the number of the individual guitar 1-115. Though I am the second owner I am also a collector and as you can see the guitar has not been played and is in perfect condition. Ships UPS insured and sale is final. You wont regret it and I hate to let it go! A truly unique piece that one just might want to grab immediately. Before someone else does. They do not come up often.
