In great condition for a 48 (or 51) years old guitar.Serial number, according to Gibson’s confusing system, shows this guitar to be from 1966 OR 1969, contemporary with the Beatles.A real treat! Vintage tone!! All original parts!!! See pictures as part of this description.I am the second owner, from non-smoking studio, kept in air-conditioned, temperature-controlled studio. It comes with genuine Gibson acoustic guitar case, it is not the original, but it is contemporary from the 60s and it shows edge wear with some minor tolex pieces peeled off, all latches intact. The original rosewood saddle is included. I had a new ebony saddle installed to exact specifications by a fine luthier with over 30-years experience. The original saddle had worn a bit in the middle, producing buzzing on the 3rd, and 4th strings. Now there is no buzzing and the action is low, under 1/8” at the 6th string and 3/32” at the 1st string. The neck is straight, I had no need to adjust the truss rod.The P-90 pick up works as it is supposed to. The Volume and Tone knobs work also as intended with no scratching sounds.There is lacquer checking on the back, front and sides as well as the rear of the neck. This is very common with older guitars and it is just hairlines with no breaking. Also, some minor buckle rash on the back from light playing but in general a very sound instrument for it's age. Some minor dings hard to photograph. The pickguard is intact and has never come off. The fretboard is in excellent shape with beautiful inlays and only the first and second frets showing minimal wear. Lots of life left in the frets.I have not used it in a while, so it needs a new owner that can appreciate its beauty. It needs new strings.
