This is a Roland Chorus Echo SRE-555 tape delay rackmount unit. It is in good working order. It has three playback tape heads which can be used independently and in combination, plus two effects circuits - analog chorus and spring reverb. This was the last tape echo Roland produced. It has a fantastic vintage sound - if you want to get a true "80s" chorus/echo/reverb effect in your music, this guy is for you. There are a few scratches and scuffs on the case and face (it is from 1982 after all) and a couple of the pots are a bit scratchy but otherwise it works great and sounds amazing.
