All solid wood really does make a difference and Alvarez made sure their Masterworks guitars, including the MD75SCE, get the best out their solid wood construction. They are very open sounding, powerful instruments with rounded notes and plenty of bass. It is constructed from hand-selected, AA solid red cedar tops, and solid, cured rosewood back and side. Each component of the MD75SCE is made of natural material including real bone saddles and nuts, maple and rosewood binding and purfling, ebony bridge pins and green abalone inlays. The Masterworks MD75SCE features a one-piece mahogany neck with a 50/50 finish, and Grover tuners. The Masterworks bracing system is forward-shifted with scalloped, hand-finished X braces that allow these guitars to project incredibly well. Thereâs lots of sustain and response, and no matter if strummed or picked, the separation and balance across the strings is easily audible. Alvarez has worked hard to ensure that their Masterworks line is one of the most impressive and affordable all solid guitar lines available, so now as many players as possible can enjoy the benefits of an all-solid wood construction.The MD75SCE Dreadnought delivers a stunning performance and suits any type of music or playing style.
