KING BBb CONCERT TUBA CONVERSION PROJECT, NOT COMPLETE, MISSING PARTS.Originally King model 1141, serial number 962893.  It's a modern instrument that appears to have been played very little.  The King 1141 was an over-the-shoulder full-size BBb marching tuba.  Someone decided to convert this one into a normal BBb concert tuba, but the project stalled.Condition of the basic instrument is very good, with no big dents or damage, and the silver plating is not worn or damaged except where modifications have been made.Tubing branches, brace parts, etc. in the plastic bag in the photos are included, but PARTS ARE MISSING, primarily the tubing circuit for the 4th valve and the mouthpipe.The valve pistons are tight in the casings, not worn, and function well.Basically a good, straight example, but it will require major work purchasing and fabricating parts and assembling the tuba to make it a complete, playable instrument.Definitely good for parts, probably a worthwhile project for someone with the expertise, time, and ambition!AGAIN, THIS TUBA IS NOT COMPLETE AND NOT PLAYABLE.WE'RE SELLING IT AS-IS, NO RETURNS PLEASE.Flat rate shipping within the contiguous 48 states is $150.  There is NO CASE.This big BBb instrument was too big and heavy for marching, anyway!  Maybe someone can make into a good concert tuba.
