This here is a Gibson J-45 from 1957 and what a wonderful sounding guitar it is. This is exactly what you want a vintage guitar to sound like: woody, resonant and balanced. This is a slope shouldered dreadnought featuring a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, tortoise pickguard, original carrying case. The guitar has had a few repairs and modifications performed to it by Joe Glazer in Nashville in 2014. The bridge and tuners were replaced, the neck was reset and a small crack near the sound hole was repaired. The guitar has checkered finish throughout and a few marks here and there but is in remarkable condition for its age. The most notable wear is strumming through the finish above the pickguard near the soundhole. This guitar comes with the original carrying case which looks like a Lifton case but is not. Currently it plays like a dream with low action and no buzz. It has light guage elixir strings. Return Policy: We offer a 14 day return policy on all of our items. Because we offer free shipping on most items the customer will be refunded the total of the item minus our shipping costs, the customer must also organize and pay for return shipping (packed in the same manner as it was sent and insured for the same value).
