The rare Yamaha N series, N-500 with less circulation to the market arrived!Although it is a relatively minor model in the long history of Yamaha, N series which many maniac fans are using by Miyuki Nakajima was using. This time the arrival of N series entry model N-500!Spruce TOP, Parisandre SIDE & BACK, Mahogany NECK, Parisundre Fingerboard & Bridge, Yamaha original western type with 44 mm nut and 651 mm scale actually measured. Position mark is a rhomboid before minor change, so-called early type N-500.The sound is attacky, bright and loud sound! In the catalog of those days, the N series is introduced as "a series that will increase the wild taste to the extent that it plays", but that's right! And wild sound of convincing crisp and echoing the wild tasteful sound.If you flutter with a flat pick, it sounds excitingly with a sound that opens to a noisy position, and if you pawn with a finger you get a well-rounded sound and you can use it without choosing a play style.I can not deny the rough feeling of the all plywood body, but it sounds like a model for properly ringing all plywood bodies when playing it!There are small scratches and slight repair history of musical instruments, but there are not any scratches or damage that is noticeably conspicuous, and it is reasonably beautiful condition.As a repair history, the peg has been replaced by Gaulto's Sharah type, and along with it, there are marks that fill the peg screw holes.Also, there was a wood patch mark of about 5 mm square whether the dent was corrected around the lower 6th bridge bridge of the body top. It seems that perhaps cutting the first layer of the plywood at 5 mm square in order to fix the scratch on the surface and filling the new tree there.It does not penetrate to the back, and it is processing only on the surface. Since it is done quite carefully, the surface is also beautifully flat, so if it is not told, it is finished well enough not to mind first.Although the bridge itself is original, the thickness is oddly thin, so it may be slightly trimmed for string height adjustment. But even here, it is being handled well without feeling any discomfort.Other small scratches are scattered like scratches, but if you think from an age it would be enough to say that it is a beautiful condition.Neck condition is good and beautiful straight, the current string height is on the 12 frets on the 6th string side 2.5mm, on the 1st string side about 2.0mm is the best setting.There is not much room in the saddle, but it seems that you can drop the string height by about 0.2 to 0.3 mm. Fret seems to have been rubbed once, but there is no dent like the current situation, still enough height still remains.Not limited to those who were looking for the N series, it is also a unique one recommended for those looking for a little different guitar with people!The case comes with a general-purpose Gig case.
