ACE TONE RHYTHM ACE FR-8LThis is another great-sounding Ace Tone drum machine - the forerunner of the Roland TR-77 which bears many similarities. It nails those classic, "woody", full-bodied early analogue drum sounds.Separate volume control for four different sounds and the ability to stack both the "Latin" rhythms and the "2-Beat/4-Beat" variations on top of the other rhythms give plenty of potential for jamming with this machine.Serviced and working well.Converted to 240v operation.Excellent condition for its age (late 60s, maybe early 70s). Some scuffs to the woodwork as you'd expect, including a chip on the back left side of the machine that we have touched up, this is shown in the photos. Six of the screws on the underside of the machine are replacements. See the photos for more information. Ace Tone was started by Ikutaro Kakehashi who went on to found the Roland Corporation. The build quality and attention to detail is generally great – these machines were built to last.Working well. Some crackle can develop but this will clear with use.THE PRICE INCLUDES 20% VAT - CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION PLEASE USE BEST OFFER TO BUY AT TAX-FREE PRICE OF £445.
