Have performed several upgrades which takes this awesome guitar to a new level of performance, a great choice as a 335 style guitar. This particular has one of the best matched tops and backs I have seen from these models.375 volume post, bridge and neck. Smooths out the maple body brightness. Each pot also has a treble bleed capacitor.Tone controls (bridge and neck) ave been rewired to "spin a split." They control the volume of the non screw pole coil of each pickup. On 10, full Humbucker mode, on 0 only the screw pole coil is on, in single coil mode. You can mix anywhere between 0-10, for a multitude of sound options.Jim Dunlop strap lock buttons3 way toggle switch moved to upper cutaway, per LP style configuration Input jack moved to body side, keeping cable out of arm's reach, to prevent damage to guitar topAmber speed knobsOriginal high end case with case candyThe ROYALE™ addresses the performance shortcomings of this great design. The sides and the center block are made from one piece of wood, rather than two sides and the center block. This creates a more rigid structure to mount the neck, top, and back into. The result is uncommon attack and sustain, without sacrificing the rich, full tone. It’s more like a solid body with incredible tone and warmth or fullness. The compact size reduces the tendency to resonate and steal energy from the string giving great clarity and power. Korean made, fantastic craftsmanship!
