This lovely medium size viola is labelled and fully branded "Ernst Heinrich Roth" dated 1984. Numbered E4 0205.It is in excellent condition with no damage or restorations, practically mint. Just a few minor scratches to varnish.It has a good looking two-piece flamed maple back and matching ribs. Lovely red/amber varnish, original throughout.Excellent tone for a viola in this price range, easy response across all strings/powerful.It has a new set-up with quality ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge stamped J P Guivier and Pirastro Tonica strings.Length of back 16" / 405mmThis is a great sounding instrument suitable for a college/academy student or discerning amateur.
