It has a beautiful sunburst finish on its spruce top and subtle flame maple sides and back with a pearloid pick guard and control plate, white binding and chrome hardware. The bass has a nice action and the thin "C" profile flame maple neck with a 30" scale has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition. This bass has a beautiful resonant tone (just like the tone you've heard on a lot of Beatles recordings). The 2 Hofner "Staple" pickups have a great unique tone with good output. The bass is equipped with an adjustable wood bridge, trapeze tailpiece and vintage style tuners. 2008 Hofner 500/2 Contemporary Series Club Bass in excellent condition.
