This is a 1955 Martin 0-15 serial #152631. This is an all mahogany parlor size instrument. As seen in the pictures, there is some 'bucklerash' to the finish on the backside evidently caused by the arm of a chair over a period of time. There is also a repaired crack on the upper bout of the instrument near the tail end of the neck (see photo); this crack has been professionally sealed and does not compromise the integrity of the intstrument. The action is about 3mm at the 12th fret. Other than that, this guitar is in remarkable condition for its age. The neck is in excellent condition, the tuning machines turn smoothly and the guitar sounds exactly like a cool, old, vintage Martin should. This guitar does come with a hard case; please note that a couple of the latches on the case are broken, so the case is probably best used for storage rather than hard gigging.
