The guitar is quite different than a Les Paul. The body is thinner and is made of 3 pieces of solid maple The fingerboard is ebony. The first version of the guitar used Les Paul’s favorite pickups – the low impedance pickups he used for years). The second and third versions used standard humbuckers, which were fairly low output. The bridge is basically a wide Nashville type bridge. My guitarόs neck is a bit slimmer than the rounded ’59 profile you find on Les Paul’s, but it's not a slim '60's profile either. I find it extremely easy to play this guitar. It has a warm, round tone and I find it to be a great guitar for playing jazz, Rock and Blues.
