Angeboten wird ein Neumann U87 Vintage Studiomikrophon in Traumhaften Zustand! Serien Nr. #9697Es handelt sich um das ERSTE serienmäßig produzierte U87 den Typ "U87", mit 7 Pin DIN Tuchel, ca. ab 1967, Nachfolger des legendären U67. Anschließend kamen das U87A und das U87Ai, beide mit XLR Stecker. Viele Profis und Musiker bezeichnen dieses erste U87 als besser als die neueren Versionen, mit einen wärmeren Sound und Charakter. Wie auf den Bilder zu sehen ist, wurden in diesem Modell nur die besten Bausteine verwendet (EROFoil und WIMA Kondensatoren, Philips Elkos, extrem hohe Qualität Trafos, usw...), im Vergleich zu den heutigen Neumann (Sennheiser/Harmann) U87, aus Kostengründe, in SMD Technik hergestellte Platinen...Vor den Verkauf wurde es bei S.Thiersch gründlich geprüft. Alles befindet sich in absolut neuwertigem Zustand. Kapsel, Korpus, Grill und interne Elektronik in tadellosen Zustand. Nur der abnehmbare Ring mit der Neumann Bezeichnung wurde durch ein neues ersetzt (steht U87Ai drauf, ist aber wie gesagt ein U87 !)Es wird zusammen mit den Original Neumann Alu Transport Koffer geliefert und Etui, bestens geeignet zum Schutz gegen Vibrationen und Staub dieses empfindliches Mikrophon. You will hardly find a ca. 1967 produced Microphone in this lovely condition!The "U87" (nor A or Ai) was the very first transistorized Mic produced by Neumann after the timeline end of the legendary U67. It also features the U67 original 7 Pin DIN Tuchel (straight pinn-out config connector). At a later point of time Neumann delivered the U87A and U87Ai, both with XLR style connectors. The original U87 is known to sound warmer, fuller and lless top-end harsh than its younger brothers U87A and U87Ai.As you can see on the pictures, Neumann used only the very best available electronic components (EROFoil and WIMA Caps, Philips Electrolitics, ultra Hi quality xformers, ertc..). Unfortunately, nowadays they manudfacture these beauties in SMD tech, in order to lower manufacturing costs. (Neumann is now part of Sennheiser / Harman...) That explains why this State of the Art Vintage units are so sought after!Before placing it on Ebay, it was professionally serviced by S.Thiersh, former development engineer at G. Neumann and RFT VEB Mikrofontechnik Gefell. Everything is clean and in "like new condition". Please, take a look at the original pictures. Please, note that the round part with the Neumann Type markings has been replaced with a new one from Neumann (although you can read U87Ai on it, as mentiones before, this is a genuine U87. The older U87 markings was discontinued). Please, check serial number...The Microphone will be delivered together with the original Neumann Aluminium Storage/Transport box, and anti-dust Bag.
