Beautiful Vintage Fairbanks /Cole 5 string banjo 11 1/4 " pot .original hardware in good condition,new renassince head,new no not tail piece, with hand made custom cherry neck built to resemble the original but with modern features such as 2 way truss rod (allows use of steel strings) solid ebony fretboard (26 1/4 scale),binding,bone nut and raised bone pip for claw hammer style,new geared tuners with ivroid buttons,slightly wider neck(1 5/16 at nut and 2" at heel, Fairbanks /cole style engraved mother of pearl inlays, plays like butter with low action and outstanding tone and volume. Finished in laquer to match original pot, Circa 1880 . Well balanced clean sounding ,easy playing......sold without case
