For sale is a 1996 Made in Japan Fender Stratocaster. It is a 60's style Strat with a rosewood fretboard and a great feeling C shape neck. It is candy apple red with a white pick guard that has a mint hue to it. The previous owner replaced the bridge pickup with a single coil from a G&L Strat. The other two pickups are stock. I have owned this guitar for the past 10 years and have used it extensively for live performance and recording. It stays in a softshell Gator case (included) when not being used. It does have some wear, including a few nicks and some light rust on the top of the bridge saddles, but plays and sounds great. The light rust does not affect the movement of the bridge saddles. I am including a bar for the vibrato, note that the white plastic tip is missing. It is also missing the backplate for easy spring access. She's a well worn in guitar and feels great under your fingers, especially when bending. The Made in Japan Fenders from the 90's are known for being as good as their American counterparts, and owning multiple Fenders I can back that up. This guitar was also made during Fender's 50th Anniversary and therefore has the gold commemorative sticker on the back of the headstock.
