PRS Black Hard Shell Case w/ Candy Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to offer up this PRS Singlecut Trem 10-Top finished in a custom color Blue Burst and sporting a highly coveted Brazilian rosewood fretboard (normally reserved only for Artist Package and Private Stock guitars)! After Paul Reed Smith befriended and picked the brain of guitar pioneer Ted McCarty, the first PRS McCarty models came out in 1994, eventually leading to the Singlecut 594. But what about players that want that singlecut vibe and the added bass response that you get from that design, but they just want the traditional PRS 25" scale length? And what about players that still want the ability to wail away on a tremolo while playing this beautiful singlecut guitar? Well, in one fell swoop, Paul Reed Smith took care of all of that. The 57/08 pickups still retain that vintage tone that most people associate with old school singlecut guitar builds, but has a bit more of a refined mid-range presence that helps it handle distortion and saturation with ease. The pattern thin neck is a breeze to fly around and the Brazilian rosewood fretboard really makes you realize why these specific pieces of rosewood are so sought after. You can absolutely notice the difference in sound. It's a touch brighter than traditional rosewood while still maintaining a warm, articulate, and focused bass response and ample mid-range to allow you to cut right through any mix. This is a real deal axe for the discerning player who needs something that will play and sound amazing along with looking sexy as heck.
