This model is the S2 Custom 24, based on PRS' original design re-imagined with a stripped down design and slightly new aesthetic. Part of PRS' new S2 series of excellent and more budget conscious US made instruments, this guitar retains the classic maple top/mah0gany back combination, with the classic body shape and a new asymmetrical beveled top that gives it a slightly different feel. With a very simple layout of volume, tone, and a three way switch to select between the two 85/15 S pickups designed for this line of guitars. There is a push/pull coil tap on the tone knob that gives you even more tonal variety. The pickups on the guitar are incredibly clear and defined, with chimey and bell like highs and deep, pronounced lows. When met with overdrive or distortion this guitar really sings while maintaining it's excellent clarity, as PRS guitars are so famous for. Cosmetically this instrument is in very good condition, with subtle signs of play wear in the way of some light buckle rash and some pick scratches along the top. Included with this guitar is the original fitted and padded gig bag. For under a grand you could have a truly fantastic PRS that rivals even the brands highest end instruments.
